Laundry Attendant

- To arrive at work on time in the uniform provided, ensuring a neat and tidy appearance, according to the ambassador handbook.

- To have a complete knowledge of the hotel product, including room types, rates, relative features and facilities, food and beverage outlets, spa and health club.

- Ensure that all reports are prepared and completely on time.

- Ensure that correct chemical handling procedures are practiced.

- Ensure correct fabric care procedures are followed per LSOP.

- Ensure that LSOP?s are available, current and in effect and available for all ambassadors to use as reference.

- Place any torn linen separately and return to linen room to repair.

- Take stained linen out and place separately.

- Keep linen for different departments separately.

- Keep laundry room clean and tidy all times.

- Ensure that any non-inventory item?s found in laundry are taken immediately to lost and found area in housekeeping.

- Maintain a regular quality control inspection of department standards.

- Regularly inspection machinery for signs of wear & tear, deterioration of hoses, belts, covers etc. Any defect or maintenance request should be logged via database for action by the Engineering Department.

- Ensure chemical wastage is kept to a minimum.

- Attend training sessions as required.

- Help with other assignments given by supervisor.

- Attend department meeting and training.

- Conduct duties or tasks as directed by Laundry Supervisor or Laundry Manager.
